Terms of Service
How Coach Links works today — a Canadian coaching product, not a law-firm document. This describes the product, fees, and payments. It is not legal advice.
What Coach Links is
Coach Links is a Canadian product (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) that gives coaches a workspace for training, nutrition, check-ins, messaging, merch, and a client portal. Clients join a specific coach through that coach’s invite link. Marketplace / Find My Coach is an optional public directory of coaches who opt in — not a store for buying or selling workout templates.
Coach platform billing (SaaS)
Coaches pay Coach Links for access to the workspace on a plan (client-capacity tiers, with a trial). That is platform SaaS billing: you are paying us to use the software. Stripe processes those card payments.
5% application fee on client → coach charges
When a client pays a coach through Coach Links using Stripe Connect — currently paid client-join checkout and merchandise checkout — Coach Links takes a 5% application fee on that charge. The rest goes to the coach’s connected Stripe account. This fee is how the platform is paid on money that flows from client to coach; it is separate from the coach’s monthly (or yearly) SaaS plan.
Affiliate payouts
If you refer another coach who signs up with your affiliate link and later pays a Coach Links platform invoice, you can earn 15% of that referred coach’s platform SaaS invoices (not merch or client-join charges). Payouts run through Stripe Connect when the affiliate’s Connect account is ready.
Cards and Stripe
Coach Links does not store full card numbers. Stripe processes cards for platform plans, Connect charges, and affiliate transfers. Stripe’s terms also apply to those payments.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your login to yourself. Don’t use the product to impersonate a coach, scrape the directory, or store content you don’t have rights to. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or skip payment after a trial.
